What AEVORA stores about you

AEVORA keeps only what the game needs to work: your profile, your progress, the records of the modes you play, and evidence for reports. This page names each kind of data, who can see it, how long it is kept and how you can see or delete it.

When this text changes, you are asked to agree again the next time you join.

What is stored

When you join, AEVORA creates a profile for you. These are the records behind it.

  • Account: your UUID, your name, when you first and last joined, your playtime and your language.
  • Consent: that you accepted this privacy text, when, and which version.
  • Progress: coins, level, achievements, friends, ignored players and your visibility settings.
  • Discord: only your Discord ID, and only if you link your account.
  • Settings: the display and accessibility settings you choose are stored with your profile, so they follow you across servers.
  • Ranks: which rank you hold and until when.
  • Your reports, the punishments you received, and the records the team needs to handle them (see Reports and safety).
  • Game modes keep their own records: HAVEN, CHALLENGES, ARENA and the lobby. The sections below name them.

See and delete your data

You can see most of it yourself and ask the team for the rest.

  • Run /privacy data in game. It lists what AEVORA stores about you, with counts. Run it on each server, because the game modes show their own rows there.
  • Run /privacy to see which version of this text you accepted and to open it again.
  • You can delete your Chronicle yourself with /chronicle delete, stop new entries with /chronicle record off, and leave the contributor list with /project public off.
  • For a copy of your data or the deletion of everything else, ask the team through /discord. There is no automatic export or deletion of all data. On request the team deletes your Chronicle, your Pass entries and your lobby data.

AEVORA Chronicle

A personal journal of selected milestones from HAVEN, CHALLENGES and the AEVORA Pass. It records nothing else.

  • Saved: the kind of event, the time and a few short details such as a level, a time or a rule set.
  • Never saved: chat messages, coordinates, IP addresses or free text.
  • Private by default: only you see your entries. For each kind of event you can share it with friends or with everyone.
  • The team looks at private entries only for a privacy request or a report, with a case number, and every look is logged.
  • Kept for 365 days. Milestones are kept without a time limit.
  • Delete everything with /chronicle delete, stop recording with /chronicle record off. /privacy data shows how many entries you have.

AEVORA Pass and community project

The Pass is a profile of your experiences across the network. The community project is a shared build in the lobby.

  • Pass milestones: only the milestone ID and the time. A copy of the milestone also appears in your Chronicle.
  • Other players see only your title and a count, and only if you allow details in /visibility.
  • Sparks: your contributions to the community project are counted. They are symbolic and give no coins, no XP and no leaderboard advantage.
  • Discoveries: the lobby remembers which of the hidden places you found.
  • Contributor list: your name appears only if you sign up with /project public on. It is off by default. Players hidden from leaderboards in /visibility do not appear either.
  • On request the team deletes your Pass entries and your lobby data. Your sparks stay in the project total without your name, so no stage falls back.

HAVEN visits

You decide who may enter your plot. These records make that work and protect you.

  • Access rights: whom you invited, at which level (view, interact, build or manage), for how long, and whether the invitation was accepted. Nobody gets access without accepting.
  • Access is visible to you, to the managers of your plot and to the invited player. The team sees it for support and abuse cases.
  • Build log: changes made by visitors, members and team members on a plot are logged with time, place and the block before and after, so they can be undone. Your own building on your own plot is not logged.
  • The build log is visible to the plot owner, to managers and to the team. It is kept for 30 days.
  • Your portal shows you, and only you, the visitors of the last 7 days and the date of the last visit.
  • Changes to access, invitations and undo actions are also written to an audit log that only the team can read. It is kept for at least 365 days.

Arcade and parkour

The lobby keeps scores so that leaderboards work.

  • Arcade: for each game your name, your best score, how often you played and won, and the time of your result. Fishing also keeps the species you caught, how often and your best length.
  • Parkour: your name and your best time.
  • Daily tasks: your progress is stored in your player settings.
  • Leaderboards show your name, unless you switch that off in /visibility.
  • On request the team deletes these records together with your other lobby data.

ARENA and CHALLENGES

The newer modes keep their own records.

  • ARENA: your profile, items, talents and statistics, and a ledger line for every run. Ledger lines are kept for 180 days, wave details for 180 days and run records for 30 days. Wave details contain no player data.
  • ARENA leaderboards and Chronicle entries stay off until you agree in the ARENA settings. You can delete your ARENA data from its menu, but not during a run.
  • CHALLENGES: every result is stored with the seed, the version and the rules of the run. Usage counters carry no names, no UUIDs and no run codes, and are kept for 90 days.
  • /privacy data shows a row for each mode, with counts.

Anti-cheat Guard

Guard looks at the technical behaviour of connections and movement to find cheating. For now it only observes.

  • Guard stores no IP addresses and no chat. Its packet filter works with short-lived counters in memory.
  • Suspicious cases are stored with their findings and an evidence chain of hashed entries, so evidence cannot be changed unnoticed.
  • Cases are kept by outcome: false alarms 7 days, unconfirmed cases 14 days, confirmed cases 90 days.
  • From warning level on, a case appears in the team's report list. Only the team sees it.
  • Your privacy overview shows how many Guard cases exist about you. Team members are never restricted automatically.

Reports and safety

To handle reports fairly, AEVORA saves evidence at the moment it matters.

  • When you report a player, or when a player is muted, chat lines are saved as evidence.
  • Usually these are the messages of the reported and the reporting player from the last ten minutes, at most 20 lines.
  • For reports about chat, spam or advertising, the whole public chat of the last ten minutes is saved, up to 60 lines per server. That includes messages of other players.
  • A replay shows movement, view direction, hits, block changes and the item in hand. Servers hold this in memory only, for about the last three minutes. It is saved permanently only on a report, for the reported person and for players near them (48 blocks), or when a team member starts a recording.
  • Saved chat logs and replays are deleted after 365 days.
  • Team members see these records only for the case they work on, depending on their role, and access to chat logs is logged.

Questions

/privacy data shows your data. The team answers everything else through /discord.
