Built, in testing

HAVEN 1.0 is implemented and in testing. Numbers and details can still change before the opening.

The village

You arrive in a village with a plaza, houses, a stream and an anchor place. It is the hub of HAVEN, and it is built by hand. The village centre is protected against building, so it stays the same for everyone.

  • A portal in the village takes you to your own land.
  • /plaza brings you back to the village from anywhere in HAVEN.
  • The village sits between a forest, a stream and a lake.

Your land

You place a cornerstone in the shared build world and buy parcels around it. Your land takes the shape you choose, not the shape of a fixed grid.

  • Members get a role on your land: manager, resident or guest.
  • Your land is protected. You decide who builds and whether visitors may use doors.
  • Land that stays unused for a long time is released step by step, with warnings beforehand.
  • The build world reaches 6,000 blocks from the centre in every direction.

Farm worlds and dying

You gather in separate farm worlds, so the build world keeps the landscape you built in. Farm worlds start over on a fixed rhythm.

  • The farm world and the Nether are renewed every 14 days, the End every 28.
  • A renewal happens in the early hours of a Wednesday and is announced three days ahead.
  • In the build world you keep your items when you die and wake up at your cornerstone.
  • In a farm world your things wait in a grave and you keep half your experience. /grave takes you back, once a day for free.

Earn and trade

HAVEN pays in Taler. It is the same network currency that is called Coins everywhere else, so your balance follows you. The Kontor buys raw materials at daily prices. At market stands, players set their own prices.

  • 48 contract templates from twelve NPC clients: daily, weekly and expeditions.
  • Market stands: a sign on a chest turns it into your shop.
  • A market directory helps others find what you sell.

Workshops

Workshops turn raw materials into products that are worth more. Licenses unlock recipes, and a specialisation shapes what you are good at.

  • 96 recipes across the workshop levels.
  • Products are marked, so their origin stays traceable.
  • Some advanced products need a second specialisation, or a trading partner.

Towns

Found a town with friends. A town has a shared bank, common land and projects that everyone contributes to.

  • Town projects such as a marketplace open up new options for the town.
  • When a town is dissolved, most of the bank is paid back according to contributions.

Progress

Home points raise your home level. Higher levels unlock more, including travel to the Nether and the End.

  • 40 discoveries reward exploring the world.
  • Leaderboards are optional. You can hide yourself.

Portal and visits

In development

A portal in the village takes you to your own land, and /home does the same from anywhere. Other players visit only if you invite them: with one of four levels (view, interact, build or manage), for a limited time, and you can withdraw access at any moment. Changes by visitors are logged and can be undone. There is no separate world per player, your land is part of the shared build world.
